I AM A GRAPHIC DESIGNER WITH OVER 20 YEARS EXPERIENCE, SPECIALISING IN BRANDING, CREATIVE DESIGN & PACKAGING.
I have worked across a number of sectors, predominantly in food and drink. Clients include De Vere Hotels, Hipp Organic, Bord Bia, AB World Foods and more recently Holy Lama and Nom Noms World Foods.
When I take a brief I am intuitive to what my clients need and I am able to work quickly and efficiently to deliver clear and effective, creative communication across a variety of digital and print media.
I’m a bit of a stickler for detail and take pride in typographic excellence, so from taking a brief and concept development to final artwork and managing print, you can rest assured that your job is in safe hands.
Based near Henley-on-Thames, I don’t have huge agency overheads so I’m agile, flexible and great value for money - happy to do as little or as much as you need.

SPICE DROPS – BRAND & PACKAGING
Holy Lama Spice Drops are award winning concentrated extracts that retain all the natural goodness and flavour of the herbs, fruits and flowers. Their sustainable business model is founded on long term relationships with local farmers.
The brief called for a new brand positioning, a new identity and styling, packaging and exhibition materials. The range extends to over 30 individual boxes, 8 gift collection boxes and wooden gift box wraps.
The drops were positioned as a powerful burst of flavours, slightly premium and fun. The packaging is bright and vibrant reflecting the extracts flavours and impact on cooking. The extracts are made in Kerala – which inspired the elephant character – and the story of how they are made and the people who make them was told on the tiny packs.
Education was key with this innovative product, so the packs also featured suggestions as to what you could use the drops for. A new website is currently underway.
MINI NOM NOMS – PACKAGING & ILLUSTRATION
Mini Nom Noms is the first entirely flavour focused food brand for kids aged between 2 and 6 years. Using child friendly recipes from around the world with vibrant and exciting combinations, they bring an extra burst of flavour & spice to the dinner table for children. Their aim is to excite and engage through bold, tasty and exotic world cuisines to encourage an open mind and inspire young growing palates.
Following on from our initial positioning work, our first task was to develop a range of packaging across the 5 variants. In keeping with the ‘travelling explorer’ theme, the colourful packs were designed as old fashioned suitcases with compartments inside to hold the various meal elements. Each dish was shot and illustrated, and the inside of the boxes were designed with maps and stamps to reflect the country of origin.
They launched in Selfridges last summer and work on new recipes, packaging formats and a new website is currently underway.
HiPP ORGANIC – MINI RECIPE BOOKLETS
HiPP is the UK market leader in organic weaning food and formula milk.
In line with their over arching baby food experts positioning we injected food values and passion into a range of communication pieces and developed a raft of food related content (e.g. recipes, tips, weaning charts and food facts) for each stage of pregnancy, newborn, weaning and toddler. This reinforced the message that we want little people to grow up learning to love good food as much as we do.
A selection of 4 little booklets for each stage were created, full of tips and recipes for both mum and baby. Fun was injected into each book, with playful illustrations and language.
